HighView is a sophisticated software program designed for image fusion and pan-sharpening. It merges low-resolution multispectral bands with high-resolution panchromatic bands from recent satellite images, such as Digital Globe's QuickBird, Space Imaging's IKONOS, and Landsat 7 ETM+. HighView is used in a variety of applications, including defense intelligence, urban planning, 3D visualization, environmental impact assessment, and land cover/use changes. It has a comprehensive workflow which includes three steps - band combination.
